Fitness 5k Walk/Run and Health Fair

Dixon Road Elementary and McGee’s Crossroads Athletic Association

Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9:00am

Location : Front entrance of Dixon Road Elementary

Start Time : 5k walk/run for all ages will begin at 9:00 am

Course : The race course will follow the school parking lot to Dixon Road and turn right.   There will be a turn around at the end of Dixon Road/Hwy. 50.   Proceed back to the opposite end of Dixon Road, turn around and return to the school entrance.   Total distance 5,000 meters (3.1 miles).

Registration : Registration fees- kids 12 and under $7.00, kids 13 and over & adults $12.00 if received by May 18.   All fees received after this date or on race day are kids $10 --13 and over $15.  

Race Day Registration from 8:00-8:30 am on May 30 in the front of the school.

Awards :   All entrants 12 years and under will receive a participation award.   Trophies will be given to the top 3 overall male and female runners, top 3 runners male and female in each of the following age categories- 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 and over.   No duplication of awards.

T-shirts :   Guaranteed to all participants registered by May 18 and to other participants while supplies last.  

Race Day : Check-in 8:00-8:45 am at school entrance.

Refreshments : Provided for all race participants following race conclusion.

Health Fair

Location :   Dixon Road Elementary Cafeteria 9:00-11:00 am
